HALO

Jesus said: “I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me” (Matthew 25:43).

H.A.L.O. answers, “Lord, you can count on us to visit you in a homeless shelter or in the streets, and while we are there we will preach the Gospel to the lost.” H.A.L.O. (Hope And Life to Others) is a faith-based, nonprofit organization that gathers on the last Saturday of each given month. We also provide mentoring focused on supporting the Community of Santa Ana during this economic downturn. Since May 2010, this ministry has grown to serve over 1500 families.

We are located at 309 North Main Street, Santa Ana, CA.  Doors open from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the cafe, directly across the street from the sanctuary.  Basic requirements for receiving food are: name, address and contact number — no one is turned away because of race, color, or belief. All are welcome.

Trained volunteers provide hope and life through prayer and encouragement to those individuals going through a difficult season in their life. Volunteers donate their time and energy, one day per month, to unload, sort and bag groceries, provided by O.C. Second Food Harvest.

We welcome new volunteers to our ministry and encourage giving a tax-deductible donation to make a difference in someone’s life. The commitment to generosity of our donors is a great source of strength for hundreds.

We provide prayer for those who wish for spiritual strength. We strive to lead and help the hurting come to the knowledge of Christ resulting in a healthy, Christ-centered life.
